The Gardewine Terminal in Timmins, Ontario is currently recruiting for an experienced AZ City P&D Driver.
This position will carry out all types of freight deliveries and pickups in the Timmins area. Complete any associated paperwork such as pro-bills and bills of lading. Work with customers to ensure exceptional customer service as outlined by our corporate Mission Statement. Other duties may be assigned based on needs of the business.
This position is Monday to Friday.
Job Duties:
- Perform local pick ups and deliveries in a safe and efficient manner
- Unload and/or load linehaul trailers to maximize load factors and customer service levels.
- Properly use and care for terminal equipment and trucks
- Keeps all work areas clean
- Cooperate with all customers to maintain a high level of service
- Complete all necessary shipping documents
Qualifications:
- Able to work well with all customers and fellow employees
- Able to maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Valid Ontario Class AZ driver's license in good standing; clean driving abstract
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job including heavy lifting
