
Alamos Gold is currently recruiting the following challenging position to join our engineering team: Ground Control Engineer Alamos Gold Inc. Young-Davidson Mine, located in Matachewan, Ontario, approximately 60 km west of Kirkland Lake is hiring an experienced Ground Control Engineer. More information on Alamos Gold Inc. and the Young-Davidson Mine can be found on our website at www.alamosgold.com Reporting to the Chief Mine Engineer the Ground Control Engineer will be responsible for implementation and management of the ground control program at the Young -Davidson Mine including but not limited to: developing short and long range project design, quality control assurance monitoring, stope design input, monitoring ground response to mining and rehabilitation. Date Posted: August 20th, 2015Closing Date: September 18th, 2015 Key qualifications include: •B.Sc. in Mine Engineering and registration with the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario. •Minimum 3 years experience in mining operations working with Geotechnical data. •Strong interpersonal, communications, and analytical skills. •Experience with AutoCAD, Vulcan or other mine planning software as well as microseismic systems. •Strong organization and time management skills.
